La Neuvaine préparatoire à la solennité de l’Immaculée Conception de la Vierge Marie
La Paroisse universitaire Notre-Dame de l’Immaculée Conception entre dans un temps de prière intense. La grande Neuvaine est dans nos murs !
Chaque année, nous prenons le temps de nous préparer afin de rentrer dans une ambiance de prière novennale, en prélude à la solennité de l’Immaculée Conception de la Vierge Marie. Il s’agit d’une expérience de foi à travers laquelle l’Église renouvelle son fidèle compagnonnage au peuple Haïtien. De ce fait, cette grande activité spirituelle tend à déborder le cadre simplement paroissial, compte tenu du nombre de participants et de pèlerins qui font le déplacement.
Cette année, c’est encore avec le même élan de foi, d’amour et d’espérance que tout le peuple chrétien s’apprête à honorer les vertus et les grâces de la Vierge Marie, immaculée depuis sa tendre Conception.
Environ 40 Messes seront célébrées en l’honneur de la sainte Vierge; du vendredi 29 novembre au dimanche 8 décembre 2019. Chaque jour, 4 Messe sont prévues: à 6h Am, 8h30 Am, Midi et 3h Pm. Sont également prévues une grande veillée de prière le vendredi 6 décembre et une belle procession, le jour même de la fête, qui partira de Carrefour Christ-Roi pour s’acheminer, dans le recueillement et la prière, vers le stade Sylvio Cator ou bien la Paroisse universitaire où la Messe solennelle de l’Immaculée Conception sera célébrée.
Le thème retenu pour la grande Neuvaine de l’année 2019 est le suivant: “Ayiti, non w deja ekri nan pla men Pitit mwen Jezi, pèsonn pa ka efase l”.
Nous traversons en Haïti, une période de grande crise sociale et politique. Le recours à la prière et à l’imitation de la Vierge Marie est d’autant plus nécessaire à toutes les familles haïtiennes. Nous exhortons nos compatriotes à s’en remettre à la douce Maternité de Marie afin qu’elle puisse déverser incessamment les grâces du Ciel dans notre vie et sur notre pays.
